Arthur’s Nightmare presents a legendary beast mirrored above and below the surface, its reflection revealing a more corrupted or wounded truth beneath. The creature’s duality evokes the burden of kingship and myth itself: what is upheld as noble above, and what festers below. This is not the dream of conquest, but the anxiety of inheritance—the fear that legacy is sustained only by repression. The image feels less like fantasy than prophecy, a warning encoded in folklore.
