The Beast of Duplicity moves through a crowd unseen, its true face revealed only to itself. With a human mask carried forward and a bestial body trailing behind, the creature embodies the split between appearance and instinct, social identity and inner nature. The surrounding figures, pale and anonymous, suggest a collective blindness or complicity—an environment where masks are not questioned, only accepted. The work reads as a parable of deception not as malice, but as survival.
