Dark King portrays sovereignty as constriction, a ruler bound by the very power that elevates him. The crown rises above a body wrapped and immobilized, arms straining outward as if seeking subjects or absolution. Authority here is not freedom but entombment, a vertical ascension that isolates rather than empowers. The king becomes a monument to rule itself—enduring, rigid, and alone.
