In this image, a colossal skull of timber and sinew looms in a barren waste, its hollow eyes and splintered grin recalling the severed head of Mimir from Norse myth. Once the keeper of boundless wisdom, Mimir’s head was preserved by Odin for counsel long after his body was gone. Here, the brittle lattice of bone and wood suggests that such knowledge, though sacred, cannot halt the slow erasure of time. The wind through its empty sockets feels like the whisper of forgotten truths—secrets the world no longer listens to, yet the desert remembers.
