In Growing Flowers, a fallen or exhausted creature gives rise to unexpected beauty, its body serving as soil for impossible blooms. The flowers are neither gentle nor consoling; they feel parasitic, even sacramental, implying growth born from surrender rather than hope. This is renewal stripped of sentiment, where life persists not by mercy but by necessity. The image echoes mythic cycles in which decay is not an end, but the raw condition for transformation.
