In this reimagining of the mythic beast, the Manticore becomes a living allegory of inner conflict. Rather than the familiar leonine monster of legend, the creature is hybridized—part feline, part dragon, crowned not with menace but with a flowering shrub, suggesting both age and renewal. From its ribs spill parasitic forms with anguished human faces, embodiments of corruption, guilt, or the burdens that feed upon vitality. Yet the tail itself transforms into a procession of light—three knights and an angel—charging against these parasitic intruders. The alcove of dead vines frames the battle as if it were a fresco inside the psyche, a dream tableau where myth confronts personal shadow. Drawing upon medieval symbolism, apocalyptic bestiaries, and dream logic, Manticore becomes a meditation on the struggle between decay and illumination, between what feeds upon us and what fights to preserve us.
Reverse: A drifting soul in.
