A massive root-creature rises from swampy ground, its knotted limbs bristling with half-formed faces, eyes, and grasping tendrils. From its gaping mouth emerges a glowing human figure—reborn, illuminated, and eerily serene. Inspired by an enigmatic ancient image of Jason being regurgitated by a serpent, this painting reimagines heroic return not as triumph but as transformation: the hero reborn out of darkness, shaped by the monster that consumed him.
