Spring Totem, carved from mossy stone and set among new growth, this totem feels both ancient and newly awakened. Its wide, reflective eyes give it the alertness of a watcher rather than an idol. Though rigid in form, it belongs to the living landscape, suggesting renewal that does not erase the past but reanimates it. The painting frames spring not as innocence, but as the return of old forces stirring again.
