Stepping Forth, 2021

A nude figure advances through a narrow divide between elemental forces, one side aflame, the other cold and fluid. The act of stepping forward feels deliberate and costly, the body tense with resolve as it crosses from one condition of being into another. This is not escape, but commitment—the willingness to endure transformation rather than remain static. The painting frames courage as motion itself, a single decisive step taken despite the certainty of consequence.
