The Elder Three gathers figures that feel both priestly and primordial, as though they preside over a ritual older than language. Each holds objects imbued with symbolic weight—chalice, mask, relic—while their faces remain distant, obscured, or transformed by the very forces they channel. They stand not as individuals but as archetypes, echoing the ancient triadic powers found across myth: the weaving sisters of fate, the watchers at the roots of time, the voices that measure, cut, and decree. Like those timeless triumvirates—the keepers of destiny who exist beyond morality—they suggest a balance of creation, preservation, and undoing. The surrounding figures and creatures reinforce a sense of witnessing, as if this moment is part of an ongoing rite through which the hidden order of the world is quietly maintained.
Reverse: Sketch of two figures in alchemical marriage.
