Victory's Cost presents triumph as an accretion rather than a release. Faces rise from within a single battered head like trophies, burdens, or unresolved selves carried forward after survival. Pins and fissures suggest that each “victory” has been fixed in place through pain, not celebration. The floating masks above hint at identities shed—or perhaps ambitions still hovering, unattainable. What remains is a face that endures, heavy with the cost of having prevailed.
